Edocman features enquiry

Hy!
I need to know if edocman can handle a situation like this:

Category A :
User 1: only view files
User 2: view and upload

Category B :
User 3: only view files
User 4: view and upload


User 1&2 can't view Category B and viceversa.

Upload must be done by frontend.

In short: Yes, it is possible. However, you will need to understand basic Joomla ACL in order to setup the system like that. By the way, the upload files is handled via Joomla Group, not for individual user. So if you want it work for individual user, maybe for each user, you will have to create a Joomla group for him.
