Discount for more than one ticket?

My client wants to add an event booking module to her Joomla site to sell tickets for children's parties.

She wants to give a discount if a booking is made for more than one child:

1 child £15
2 children £25
3 children £40
etc.

The events will have a maximum capacity so if a 3 child booking is made, the available spaces will be reduced by 3.

Is this possible using the Custom field?

Yes. It is possible. You can use custom field to handle this registration and event capacity. However, you will need to install and publish an extra plugin called Events Booking - Update Total registrants which I uploaded below, Also, for this custom field, you will need to have it's name starts with eb_number_
