How does this component deal with the waitinglist?

When i remove registrants, does it automaticly fil the space up with the waitinglist? or do i mail the waiters, and create space on the list???

The extension allows you to transfer user from waiting list into registrants automatically. However, it will only works for free events. The reason is because for free event, no payment is needed. For paid events, we can not move automatically because users need to make payment for the registration.

So in conclusion, if you uhave free events, this feature is available. Just go to Extensions -> Plugins Manager, find and publish the Events Booking - Move Registrants Plugin . After that, when someone cancel his registration, the first user from waiting list will be moved into registrants automatically.

why not letting people that join waiting list also choose payment method so that they can automatically be transferred into registrants?

How the payment can be processed without user action? For example, with Paypal payment, you need to login to your Paypal account, the process process payment..., all happens at Paypal site. So basically. this process cannot be automatically.

I am much more an user than an expert. I do not know how this can be solved, but there must be a solution

It is not possible. As I said, the payment process need USER ACTIONS (you need to enter your username and password at Paypal for example to process payment..., the system cannot do this step for end-user...).

your component could send the user a mail the moment he was moved to registrant list, asking him/her to complete registration process by entering payment data. if he/she did not react within a certain time, he/she would get kicked again from registration list, just as he would when not sending money on offline payment.

If
a) people choose the paymentmethod when subscribing to the waiting list
b) where moved to the registrants-list as soon as a space opens up

then
c) people could be mailed a link to finish the payment (within 3 days or so, or else be taken of the list).
d) people could be on the registrants list with registration status "Pending".

This would be the ideal situation, as far as I am concerned.
