I am curious to see if your component can function properly for our event. We are planning to schedule an event that will allow individual and/or group registrations. We will be requiring payment and often time we anticipate that if someone registers a group, they may not participate in the event.
Our primary requirement in addition to the features that I know your component offers is we must have all participants (not necessarily registrants) digitally agree to terms/sign a waiver. The only way that I see this as a feasible task is to have an email address requirement for all participants in the event. Once paid and registered their status could be something in a pending status, while awaiting someone to click on a link that is sent in an email that then requires them to agree to the terms/sign the waiver on the site. Once they've signed/agreed their registration is confirmed and they are set. I see this as the only way to accomplish this because of groups (we can't have one person sign the waiver/agree to terms for everyone in the group).
It would function similarly to the joomla core registration component when the site requires activation. They fill everything out and then must click on the link in an email to finish things.
Is this something that is possible within your component? Is it something that will require additional programming?
