edocman and CB

Dear friends, what about EDocman and Community Builder ? My users get registerd through CB. In this case, ACL is CB's one, I presume.
Then, please: is it possible using ACL set permissions so:
1) users see only a category of documents, but no document
2) registered users see only their own documents and can download them

In other words, I as administrator need to upload an electronic document and assign rights to allow to see it to a unique registered user, who is the only user to see that document (just as presence in the list) and to download it. That same registered user cannot see other docs belonging to other registered users.

Yes. It is possible. When you create a new document, simply enter ID of user who you want to be able see and download the document and only that user can see and download it.

Please two more questions:
1) what about hosting ? is there any particular needs with working platform ? Joomla version, SQL version, PHP version, and so on...
2) my website (which you can see at www.aviorama.travel ) is built up from a GAVICK template: I cannot imagine which page layout a registered user could be presented to, when going to see and download documents prepared for him ....
