Document seller pre sale question was created by Edward Mullarkey
I am using Edocman for my client back end downloads which I think is great and it works a treat.
I am now considering document seller for other documents (.pdf) to sell on front end. However each document is unique in the fact that client data obtained from the order is used in the document. I realise updating client data would have to be done long hand for each purchase.
So my question is would document seller be suitable for selling this type of document. Could I place a dummy document for the initial listing and then give client a link to the new updated document when available (I could do this through Edocman perhaps?) or should I be looking at a different way of going about it.

Hi Edward
Yes. I think you can use the mentioned solution :
1. Create a dummy document in Documents Seller to allow customers to purchase it .
2. Once you received order from one customer, you will create a document for this customer based on his data. Then upload this document via EDocman and assign it to this customer so that he can login to download .
That's the only solution for your requirement for now .
Regards,
Tuan
