Hello, I would like to create an event for $50 and have it check out with PayPal... but I want to be able to give someone a discount code for 100% off of the price. So basically they would register for free. Is this possible?

Hi

Yes, It is possible. You can simply create a coupon code with discount 100% and send it to the customers you want to give discount and he will be able to register for the event for free !

Hi

When someone registers for an event, will the user also be a registered user within Joomla?

=> Right now, this feature is only available for Joomla 1.5. I will add support for Joomla 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5 in the near future !
