I am thinking of switching from DT Register to Events Booking. I have run into too many bugs, and their support is incredibly slow or not at all. That is not what I paid for. Right now I have a non-functional DT Register system, and support won't reply to my tickets.

We are a very happy customer of yours with Joom Donation. It works very well and we have had practically zero issues with it. Thank you!

Upon looking at Events Booking as a possible replacement for DT Register, I have a question about one thing. Can a person that paid with a deposit return to the website and then make another payment on their registration? This is one feature we use in DT Register, and it looks from reading about Events Booking that it isn't there. I thought I would ask though.

If that feature isn't available now, do you have any plans to add that feature in the future?

Hi vanboke

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with DT Register. It is a good extension but it seems still buggy and their customers support is not very good (some clients switched from DT Register to Event Booking before) .

Regarding your question : Right now, Event Booking supports deposit payment. However, the only way for customers pay the remaining for now is that they pay it when they come to and attend the event (or send the remaining payment to the the event organizer by someway) , they cannot pay for the remaining amount using online payment gateway into the extension .

It is a good feature but not many customer need it for now, so you might have to wait for atleast one month to have this feature. Right now, there are higher priority feature which I need to implement first !

Regards,

Tuan

Thank you for such a quick response!

I understand and appreciate that the feature might not be requested by many folks. It would be useful in our case though. I will talk to the folks in charge and see if we can live without that feature for this round of classes. If we can, I will purchase it and go with it now. If not, then I will need to see if I can get DT Register to respond to my ticket and resolve that issue.

Regardless, once that feature is added we will make the switch to Event Booking.

Thank you again for your hard work, and great software!

Also need this feature - or for them to be able to pay the full amount in one go (deposit + remaining amount).

Also, to cancel their place automatically if payment is not received within the specified period before the event.

Any progress at all?

+1!!!!!

My client does tours and must have deposits paid for, then the rest paid for online (since they're paying with credit cards).

Hi

The deposit payment feature is available in the extension. Basically, if you activate this option, when registrants register for event, they can choose to pay deposit amount or pay full amount . If they choose deposit payment option, they will pay the deposit amount at the time they register for event and the remaining when they come to attend the event .

Hope the explanation is clear to you .

Regards,

Tuan

I think you may have missed what they were asking, your statement was the same answer as 9 months ago, ie you pay deposit online but then no way of paying rest online. 9 months ago it was said there may be development for it in a month or so. As its a good 7 months now is this facility there now. ie to pay deposit, then full amount online. This is quite important to be honest as people dont tend to want to bring rest of the money with them on the night.
