[30-October-2024] Payment Form version 7.1.0 releases was created by Tuan Pham Ngoc
Dear Customers !
Today, I'm happy to release new version of Payment Form, version 7.1.0 with the following improvements :
1. Support EU Tax Rules
If you are from an EU country and needs to charge tax rate to your customers follow EU Tax Rules when they make payment on your form, this is now supported. To use this feature, you need to do some steps :
- Go to Payment Form -> Custom Fields, create a Text custom field to allow users to enter VAT Number.
- Go to Payment Form -> Configuration :
+ Set Default Country config option to your country
+ Navigate to EU Tax Rules tab, set VAT Number Field config option to the field you created above
With that setup, your customers will now being charge tax rate base on EU Tax Rules while processing payment using the forms you created.
2. Update Payment Form - Acymailing plugin
The old Payment Form - Acymailing plugin only compatible with old version of ACYMailing extension (version 5 and earlier). This plugin is now updated to work with latest version of ACYMailing
Please update your site to this latest version of Payment Form to use these improvements. Thanks for continue using our products and support our development.

Hi,
Thank you but in payment page it wasn't showing anything regarding tax amount. It is just adding up with total amount which is confusing. Also need to display amount in invoice as well. How to solve these?

I just updated the code and it should handle that. Could you please download latest package from My Downloads section, update it to your site and check it again to see if it works?

Thinking more about this, I wonder if we should allow turning on/off EU Tax Rules for each form? And do we need to allow each form to specify it own field to enter EU Tax Rules ?

Thanks for quick update. Now looks good. How about invoice? Does [TAX_AMOUNT] tag work?
