My thought as well.

It was necessary to separate Late Fee from Total Amount as this is a legal requirement for USA regarding any property fees. It's also illegal to charge sales tax on late fees but I would imagine that only applies to a very small number of installations. Still, separating the two, as I have done, may benefit all of you users for clarity if nothing else. Happy to share my code with you if interested.

I don't have time to look at it right now, but if you could zip the code which you modified and upload it here, that would be great

I will look at it and might integrate it to core package when I have sometime
