Custom Field value not showing in emails, etc. was created by Donald Muller
Hello Tuan,
In version 5.3 of Payment Form I have configured a custom field named 'Diamond Amount' with settings as per the attached file. If a user inputs a number the value is saved and computed correctly to determine the total payment shown in the 'Amount' field. The 'Diamond Amount' value entered shows in the Confirmation page but nowhere else. The value is missing from the Payment Complete page, the admin message email and the buyer message email. If I enable the 'Diamond Amount' field to display in the Payments Page in the back end the value is empty there as well. As stated the actual Total Amount variable always gets the correct value so the downstream processing like PayPal is passed the right value. Maybe the custom field I created 'Diamond Amount' is not getting the right 'scope' since it is displayed OK in the Confirmation Page but not the later processing for the messages and emails.
Regards,
Don

Hello Don
What's the ID of the Diamond Amount field? Maybe it happens because you changed name of one of the core field in the extension and it causes the issue? If you edit one of the core field to have this name, then please change the name of the field to what it was (you can change title of a core field but please don't change name) and the issue should be sorted

Hi Tuan,
Thanks for replying so quickly. I think the ID is 14 so is that one of the core fields? If yes what is the name of that core field so I can change it back.
Thanks,
Don

Hi Tuan,
I solved this problem by deleting the original field and creating a new one. The new field was assigned a different ID and it worked OK. Thanks for identifying the cause of the problem.
Thanks,
Don

OK Don. Again, for core fields (ID smaller than 14), you can change title of field but please don't change it's name
