amount field sends $1 value for amounts over $999

I have taken over admin of this site - www.flighttestnz.co.nz/ - which uses your Payment Form plugin on Joomla 1.5.25.

There is a problem with the processing script that submits the input in the Amount Field where any amount above $999.99 reverts to $1.00 when sent to the Payment Gateway.
Other examples of the error are -

• when $10000.00 is entered - $10 is returned
• when $100000.00 is entered - $100 is returned
• when $1000000.00 is entered - $1 is returned
• when $999999.00 is entered - $900 is returned
• when $9999999.00 is entered - $9 is returned

The correct amount displays in the payment confirmation emails, in the hidden fields in the source code of the payment page but the incorrect amounts are produced when the form is processed and sent to the (DPS) payment gateway and subsequently charged to the customers account.

There definitely appears to be an error in the processing script.
Can you please advise how I can fix this.

This was a bug in the old DPS payment plugin. I worked together with Stephen via support ticket system and get the issue sorted !

I understand this is an old thread, but I am experiencing the same issue whereby payment amounts over $1000 are being sent to DPS as $1 for processing. Can you please advise how to resolve.
