Need to know if this will work... was created by dv310p3r
I have five products that need to be sold. I don't want to install a whole shopping cart just for five items though. So I'm looking for an alternative of sorts.
Basically I need to know if this component will provide me back whether or not the Payment was succesfull and if that's able to be tracked in the database.
Thanks,

Hi
The extension store all records in the database . However, only successfully transaction will be showed from back-end and administrator only receive notification emails for successful payment .
You only have 5 items to sell , so I think Payment Form will be a good choice .
Please let me know If you have any other questions .
Thanks ,
Tuan

Awesome,
Ok next question. Each product will have to store additional data related to only that particular product. Basically each transaction is related to a particular car. So the customer will have to enter the year, make, model, and color of the car. Also, I'll need to capture their user data so that I can associate their purchases to their user accounts to show them what products they've bought whenever they log in. That page I know I'll need to create separately, I just need to know if it's possible to add this to the system.
Or maybe you can suggest a way of making sure the information stays together.
Thanks,

Hi
The system support custom fields, so you can create custom fields to ask your customers to enter year, make, model, and color of the car they want to purchase .
For each transaction , you can collect any users data (first name, last name, email.....) . If users logged in, the payment record will be associated to his account (via user_id field) so you can show them what they have purchased if users logged in . Infact, the extension has payments history plugin, so you just need to modify this plugin alilte to meet your requirement .
Thanks ,
Tuan

Hi
For the current version, you need to use JomSocial or Community Builder to show payment history . In the next version (which will be released at the end of this week), I will add this feature to standalone Joomla users (will create a view to display payment history of the current logged in user) .
Regards ,
Tuan

I created a new field in the Fields Management area, but it doesn't show up in the Create a form field area. Am I missing something?
Or better yet. How can I add custom fields to the Forms? I don't see an area for that.
Thanks,
