First Data Payment form plugin - Data not moving

Hi i have purchased your First Data Plugin and the Payment form.

I can connect to First Data but the CC number Expiration, year, address, card code, etc.. does not come through, it takes me to

www.linkpointcentral.com/lpc/servlet/lppay

then fills in only the Name and email address, and the payment amount.

What am i doing wrong?

I would like this to have payments done through the site and not look like it is going through First data or LInkPoint.

The First Data payment plugin was designed to work with Linkpoint and it uses Redirect Method. That mean customers won't enter credit card information on your site. They are redirected to LinkPoin (First Data) to enter creditcard information for processing payment .

That's how it should work. Is it clear ?

It is clear but what about this statement?

First Data has two method for processing payment :

1. Users are redirected to First Data to enter creditcard information to process payment. That's how the current First Data payment plugin for Event Booking works at the moment .

2. Users enter credit card information directly on your site and your system use First Data API to process payment (customers don't have to redirect to First Data) . I am developing a payment plugin which will work like that and will have it ready on Monday !

In this case, I think you should wait until Monday next week for the plugin !

From the Administrator which makes it sounds like 6 months ago this would have changed to allow for transactions to be made through the site. This is what we thought we paid for. I would have just had the user be sent to the LInkPoint Form, instead of using the Payment Form Component and the purchase of the Plugin for FirstData......

Ah, I understood what you want now . I just sent the direct payment plugin to you via support ticket. Please check your support ticket to get it. After that :

1. Go to Payment Form -> Payment Plugins to install and publish the plugin .

2. Login to your Linkpoint (First Data) account, download PEM file in your account. Rename this file to PEMFILE.pem and upload to components/com_pmform/payments/fddirect direct folder of your site.

After that, you will be able to make payment by entering creditcard information directly on your site .

Thanks for your help so far.

The PEM file is not available in my Virtual First Data Terminal. I called and they said that it would not be available but since we have a SSL we should have no issues making payments through the site without going to first data's page.

I have everything set up and have tested this out but keep getting an error... Your transaction was not complete due to invalid data, please double check and resubmit your transaction.

Then after it says Reason it is blank.
