If the problem can be solved why worry? If the problem can not be solved, worrying will do you no good.
Resource type and Resorce was created by Stephen
Hi
Have a question about resource type and resource.
I want to have 3 different resource type like this:
1. Staff
2. Team 1 (2 staff are working in this team staff 1 and 2)
3. Team 2 (2 staff are working in this team staff 3 and 4)
In the resource type 1 (staff) I could put all employes in this resource type and they will be available to choose any of them. (This is OK)
Now to the tricky part.
In resorce type 2 (Team 1), In team 1 I want 2 staff to be included and when you select this service, both staff will be booked. This because they belong to Team 1.
The same should apply to resource 3 (Team 2) where staff 3 and 4 are working in.
So in short:
When customer choose a service where the resource is Staff they could choose anyone in this resource.
But when they choose a service where there are team´s working they can only choose a team not the staff but the staff working in that team should be booked.
Is this possible to accomplish?
Regards
Stephen

Hi Stephen,
At the moment, OS Services Booking does not have a feature to automatically create bookings for all staff/resources inside a selected Resource Type.
So if a customer books a Resource Type such as Team 1, the system cannot automatically mark both Staff 1 and Staff 2 as booked at the same time.
Currently, the booking is handled based on the selected resource/staff, not by automatically booking all members within a resource type.
Thanks
Dam
