Every question/issue was created by rondellus
Just curious, but I thought forums were typically used to ask question about issues and an answer is given for all to see. In this way, users of the software with the same issue can apply whatever fix is provided, without having to wait for a developer response to issues already fixed. And I would imagine this reduces the workload on the developer as answering redundant tickets is greatly reduced once a fix has been posted within the forum.

I've noticed with pretty much every query about an issue, the user is asked to "submit a ticket", instead of simply providing the fix and posting the remedy for all to see. And in all the queries I see submitted, there is never a follow up to the thread stating the fix. This pretty much renders the forum section useless, and only serves to illustrate the many issues this component suffers from.

Can we please see the solutions to the problems posted? That would be extremely helpful. Thanks

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback and your suggestions regarding our support process.

Due to the nature of issues related to OS Services Booking, some problems may arise from the way the component is configured on each customer’s site, while others may be caused by the component’s code itself. For this reason, we often need to check the specific configuration of the Booking system on the customer’s website to accurately identify the source of the issue.

If we find that the problem is due to the customer’s configuration, we will explain the cause and provide guidance so that the same issue can be avoided in the future. If the issue is related to our code, we will fix it and update the core package of OS Services Booking to ensure that other customers do not encounter the same problem.

For general questions about how to use the component, we always answer them directly on the forum so that all customers can benefit from the information.

Thank you for your understanding.
Dam
