18th November 2024 - New version 2.23.0

The OS Services Booking developer team are proud to announce the release of OS Services Booking 2.23.0. This is a first release for the 2.23.x series of OS Services Booking with a lot of great improvements and addresses issues introduced in previous versions.

What's new in OS Services Booking version 2.23.0

1. Improve Backend Dashboard layout
In this version, we improve Backend Dashboard layout of OS Services Booking, make this layout nicer than before and compatible with mobile screens.

 

2. Add layout to show order items of booking
This is an improvement in the extension's code structure. From this version, if you want to modify order items layout, you can make the change in file: root -> components -> com_osservicesbooking -> layouts -> orderitems.php
And you can create the override layout for this layout in Joomla template to avoid overridden in future.

3. Improve Monthly calendar layout
In this version, we improve Monthly calendar layout at both frontend and backend side.
 

4. Improve Checkout layout
Adjust some minor layout issues in Checkout form

5. Improve Custom fields showing
Adjust some minor layout issues on Checkbox and Radio boxes custom fields showing

6. Add option to apply rest time to the whole service's employees and linked service after booking
In previous version, the "Rest time" of service is only applied to employee who is booked in the service, but from this version, OS Services Booking has new configure option: "Apply rest time to all employees and linked services", it is applied to all employees of service and linked services also. Simply, when the configure option "Apply rest time to all employees and linked services" is enabled, after the booking, the corresponding service will be unavailable for "rest time" period, and the same for "linked services" of it too.

7. Other improvement & Fixed issues in previous versions

• Issue on auto-remove pending orders and pending offline orders
• Issue on updating total cost of booking at frontend side
• Hide "Message" custom fields when add/edit order at Backend side
• Add option to show/hide First Name in Checkout form
