The OS Services Booking developer team are proud to announce the release of OS Services Booking 2.11.0. This is a first release for the 2.11.x series of OS Services Booking and addresses issues introduced in previous versions.

What's new in OS Services Booking 2.11.0

1. Add option to generate booking to .ics file and send them to customers
From this version, you can import events from an .ics file to your existing Outlook calendar or subscribe to a calendar online and receive automatic updates (known as an ICS subscription or an iCal subscription). You can import calendars from websites or calendar programs that support the .ics file format, such as Apple iCal, Google Calendar, and Mozilla Lightning. There are new configure options:
  • Generate ICS file: You can enable this configure option, then, OS Services Booking will generate .ics files and send to customers when their booking are placed
  • Send ICS file to administrator and employees: If this configure option is enabled, the .ics files will also be sent to administrator or employees

2. Improve Privacy Policy feature
In this version, we add new configure option to show/hide privacy policy checkbox in User registration form (Checkout step)

3. Add Customer information layout
From this version, from Orders management page at frontend, administrator can click on Customer name to go to their information page. In Customer information page, OS Services Booking will list all orders history of customer, and in case the Prepaid payment plugin is enabled, customer's balances will be shown too.

4. Improve layout "Manage all orders"
In this version, administrator will able to search customer name, email, phone in Orders management layout

5. Add email template "Offline payment received"
In previous version, there is only one "Offline payment" email, but in fact, if customer use Offline payment, we will have 2 cases:
- Paid
- Unpaid
When user already sent payment (offline), it's not correct to send the "Offline payment" email with bank information anymore, that's the reason we add new email template "Offline payment received" which is used to sent to customer once they sent the money to site owner.
This email will be sent when the Offline payment has order status is Complete

6. Improve function "Send notify emails" at Backend side
With improvement in "Offline payment received" email template, the "Send notify emails" in Orders management tool at Backend of OS Services Booking is also be changed to send corresponding email template for Offline payment.
