"Guided" booking was created by Nicolò Manzotti
Hi there everyone!
I was wondering if OS Service Booking has a booking view like this one:
xandaro.com/en/booking/booking1/demo808686
The employee view is very similar ( osb.ext4joomla.com/all-employees/employee-peter-kindt ), but if a single employee has 100 services (in Salon and SPAs that's not unfrequent), it can be confusing and the page will be extremely long.
Furthermore, are there "sub-categories" in OS Service booking? That also could be really useful with high number of services.
A good idea could be to have on the employee page, accordions divided in sub-categories, showing lenght and price; clicking on the accordion I have additional infos (description, pictures, ...) and the calendar with availability.
Let me know what do you think!
Thanks
Nicolò

Hi Nicolo,
OS Services Booking has various objects: Venues, Categories, Services, Employees. In your case, you have over 100 services. So i advise you to divide the Services to Categories. OS Services Booking doesn't support subcategories, but using Categories, you will reduce number of services to be shown at front-end. In additional, you can setup menus to Service + Employee directly, it will avoid the case there are too much services on Booking table page like showing employee page as demo.
I hope my answer is clear to you.
Thanks
Dam

Hi Dam,
your answer is clear: I know I can achieve my objectives with OS Service Booking current functionalities.
My message was more intended as "feature suggestions", for future OS Service Booking releases.
I think that in my situation, nested categories and "guided" booking would allow a better booking experience, and I think that that can be other users with a situation similar to that explained!
Thanks for your time
Nicolò

Hi Dam,
sure, here they are:
Software demo - xandaro.com/en/booking/booking1/demo808686
Real application - xandaro.com/beautybydonna
Unfortunately, Xandaro is the only software I know with a "public" demo.
Another example is Shore ( www.shore.com ), but unfortunately no free demo!
Thanks!
Nicolò
