How customizable is OS Services Booking?

I want to develop a site that sells different types of tours. Tours that last the whole day, half day and others that my have time slots. How customizable is OS Services Booking. Is it also possible to take a percentage of the total price e.g. 10% of the total price of the tour just to confirm the booking?

Hi JAG,
You can setup OS Services Booking to make it suit your tours booking system. You can setup different services (tours services) with the time slots are whole day, half day or specific time. If you don't want to use employee, you can setup only one employee (default employee) - you also change the word "employee" to another word.
You can setup the deposit percent, the percentage of total amount that customers must pay to active the booking request.

For example. If a jeep tour can take a total of 12 persons. if i set up to services one for adults and one for children how would I link the number of available slots.

Sorry Dam, let me start again.

I am starting a site where I want to sell many different types of tours.(an example of what I want to do can be see seen here: www.islandroutes.com ) Boat tours, scuba diving, helicopter rides etc.

I am trying to evaluate whether OS Booking is right for the job.

Many of the tours have different prices for adults and children and the available capacity changes. Obviously a boat can carry more people than a helicopter.

I will use a helicopter tour for my example. Capacity: 6 persons departs at 11am
If I set up to services, one for the adult price and the other for the childrens price, for the same helicopter tour. How do I link the the capacity (number of slots) to a total of 6 in both services as they are the same helicopter tour that leaves at 11am?

I hope this explains what I am trying to do.

OH, I think you can add the custom field with field type is Select list.
2 options in that select list are:
Adult +X USD
Children + 0 USD
And customer can make the booking request on specific time slot and select user type (adult or children)
Is that ok with you?
