Add new Element was created by enrika
I need to add a text area as a custom field to the service area. How can I do this?
or is there a additional plugin that allows me to extend the element types for the custom fields?
Thanks in advance for your help. You guys are the best when it comes to support!

Hi Enrika ,
Unfortunately, OS Services Booking doesn't allow to add the textarea or inputbox field at the services area. These field types can only be added at the booking form.
Thanks

Ok thanks.... now I understand that these fields can only be created in booking form. But please let me know how I create a new TextAREA within the booking form.. I can do it manually if you give me some direction as to which files I need to edit.
Thanks Dam!

Hi Enrika,
You must edit a lot places to add textarea in OS Services Booking.
1. You need to edit 2 files
- administrator > components > com_osservicesbooking >classes >fields.php
- administrator > components > com_osservicesbooking >classes >fields.html.php
2 above fields are used to manage the extra fields of system
2 You also need to modify function orderField in file components > com_osservicesbooking >classes > default.php
to show the custom fields at the frontend
Good luck
