Service and Employees tabs ok to eliminate?

Service and Employees tabs ok to eliminate? was created by rainer.lara
I have been trying to figure out the use of service and employee tabs link. Here I attach a pic showing the tabs. Are they important? If not, Is there a way to get rid of them?

Unfortunately, it's impossible to remove the tab with employee's name.
