booking an item on hourly and dayly base was created by Jozsef Weimper
Hi,

I am renting boats.
customers can rent a boat for hourly and dayly, even more days. How can I solve this with OS Services.

If I could change normal time slot, it would work. For example instead of
8.00-8.59 8.30-9.29
9.00-9.59 9.30-10.29
etc. etc.

There would be
8.00-8.59 0.00-23.55
9.00-9.59
etc.

In this case I would change your normal time slot second column. How to this?

Anyway this is a solution for me, but not the best. If someone wants to book a boat (item) for two weeks, than he needs to choose all days in the calendar for that two weeks and book the days from 0.00 to 23.55.
A part solution could be as well if I could have more custom time slot option not only 9. Ho to increase the number of possible custom time slot on a service?

So, it would be a GREAT option if the user could chose an interval in days he wants to rent as well, not only hours in a day.

For example there can be customers who need the specific massage every day in the week in the same time. Why he cannot make and pay a reservation for a longer period?
If your extension could do this it would be perfect!

Thanks for help!

Jozsef

Hi Jozef,
In your case, i think you can setup the custom time slot, you can set the 2 time slots in one day, and user can purchase 2 slots for one day and re-loop that work for 2 weeks.
The system will calculate the total cost depend on number slots that user purchase.
Thanks

Hi,

sorry, but I dont understand.
Could you please explain me with an example?

I think you mean a time slot for an hour and another for a 24 hours?
But the time slot for an hour is a speciied interval like 16.00-17.00.
So, one time slot for an hour is not enough as I rent boats in every hour from 06.00-20.00

Thanks!

How is it possible with custom time slot as well to book an employee for a certain resource on the same day from 08.00-21.00 and 08.30-09.30 as well?
How could the same employe work for two different customer in this case?
What is the sense of slot numbers in custom time slots?

Hi,
One employee can only have the different time slots. for example, from 8h00 -> 9h00 and 9h01 to 21:00
It is impossible to have the 2 time slots in the same time.
About Slot numbers: If you have a class, and one teacher can teach 50 students in one time, in that case, you can create one time slot and put the number is 50. It means, there are max 50 students can book the teacher in that time slot.
Thanks
