How to display in frontend was created by Christian Desjardins
Hi,

I have found the component in admin panel and made the setup, but I don't find any module or plugin after installation ?

How do I make the service booking appear in an article or in the frontend ??

Any help, please

thank you

Hi Christian,
You can show OS Services Booking component from frontend by create new Joomla menu(
) and select default layout is the OS Services Booking component.
Thanks

I have some issues getting the extension working on frontend.
After installing and configuring everything (also with sample data) I can't get it to work.
I've made a new menu to "Default layout: Services booking", but when clicking on the menu item, it shows me a blank screen. Nothing of the website appears, nothing loaded, just a white screen.

Can someone help me out?

I think you made something wrong in configuration or there is the problem with your server configuration. Please send your site link with super user account, ftp account to damdt@joomservices.com. I will check the problem for you.
Thanks

To be sure the problem isn't my own joomla configuration I installed the extension on a fresh joomla installation, (Dutch language) with sample data of joomla and sample data of the service booking extension, without touching any configuration at all.

Also now the extension doesn’t work at frontend… What could be the problem? Serverconfiguration problem? (Xampp in my case, because the site isn't online yet)

I add a menu item to default layout Service booking, used link index.php?option=com_osservicesbooking&view=default&category_id=
Need to do something else?

There must be some error in the code.
I just get the samen white screen with another joomla functie on my website, because I somewhere deleted a backslah '\' character in the code.
Looks like the same problem.

Yes, maybe, please careful with you change. I think you need to backup the source code files before you make the change.

Yes, I always backup.
But the reason why OS service booking extenion won't work offline still remains a mystery. The files I have online are an exact copy of the files I use offline.
