Error: Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail

Hi.
This is my website URL: www.gruppoimmobiliarepc.it/2025

When saving a new property I have an error: Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail
 

In Global configuration > Server > Email, I have used:
- PHP Mail
- Sendmail

.....in both case the error is the same.

Can you help me?

Hi,
Please go to Joomla Global Configuration, open the Server tab, and check the Mail Settings section. Try sending a test mail from there to see if any errors occur.
If there is an error, you will need to resolve the Joomla mail sending issue first before proceeding further.

First of all THANK-YOU.

In Global Configuration > Server Tab > Email I receive the test email using PHP Mail and Sendmail.

Using SMTP the the test email do not work.

P.S.: using a @gmail address the error has changed to: Could not instantiate mail function.

I tried sending an email using the OS Property contact form.
Two conflicting messages appear.

1) ATTENTION: Error sending: Could not instantiate mail function.
Could not instantiate mail function.

2) INFO: Your request has been sent to the agent.
 

The message, however, did not reach the recipient.

Hi,
You may want to set the "Business Email" in the Configuration to match the "Mail From" address in Joomla Global Configuration.
This could help resolve the error when initializing Joomla email.

Thank-You for your help.

I have updated Joomla (5.4.0 > 5.4.1) and OS Property component (now is version 6.2).

The e-mail in the OS Propery Configuration [image 1] and the e-mail in Global configuration > Server > Email are the same [image 2].
 
 

Unfortunately when I use the OS Property Form i receive always the same message (image 3)
