Location Setup and configuration issues

Hi

I have noticed a few issues that we need to fix as soon as possible. Please suggest how we do this as I am unable to locate these in the documentation:

1. How can I add a new country? We need to add England and Isle of Man as these are the constituent nations of the United Kingdom that are not listed here (Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales are already listed). This will enable us to use the component either for specific constituent nations of UK or for UK as a whole.
2. The flag appearing against United Kingdom in Dashboard > Setup > Location is that of England. How can this be changed to the Union Jack flag that represents the whole of UK? However, please note that the flag appearing against UK in Location > Manage Countries
3. he flag appearing against Northern Ireland is incorrect. The flag either needs to be the Union Jack or the Ulster banner, and example of which can be found here .
4. How can we disable a location? The Enable and Disable icons in Dashboard > Setup > Location do not seem to do anything and they do not provide any feedback on the result either!

Please let us know how we can resolve these issues as soon as possible so that we can move forward.

Hi Kamalesh,
1. Currently, the countries in OS Property are fixed, they are being stored in DB table: #__osrs_countries. You can use PHPMyAdmin to add new records (countries) if you want.
2. The flag image is being placed in: administrator/components/com_osproperty/images/flag/flag_united.png
You can replace that image.
3. The country flags are being stored in folder: administrator/components/com_osproperty/images/flag, you can open that folder for changing images
4. I am not sure about your idea on disabling location. In fact, location is required in OS Property, and we can't disable it.

Thank you for your responses. I would like to clarify the following:

1. Can you confirm that if I make changes to the database table and folders directly, it will not be affected when any future change is rolled out to the component?
2. Regarding #4 (disabling a Location), e.g. I do not want anyone to be able to post properties from specific countries, e.g Albania. How can I ensure that no one is able to post a property from Albania? Is it sufficient to exclude Albania from the list of Default Countries?
