Ordering of Latest Property not working

Ordering of Latest Property not working was created by Niraj Gorkhali
The latest properties shown in home page is not showing latest in descending order. The 'order properties by' field in menu is not working at all. So, could you clearify me if is this issiue is due to misconfiguration or bug. Ive attached the screenshot of menu setting.
