Integrate OS Property with external Application

Greetings,

Is there a way to receive data from some application (using an API or XML-RPC)
and automatically import to OS Property?

I know that there is a manual import procedure but obviously this does not really work.

Ideally, someone could use an API Key and through his web or desktop application be
able to send Properties to my Joomla website which has OS Property, and be able
to update them in the future through some reference ID.
