Csv Import - Photos not uploading was created by Heather Baggaley
Hi There
I have been communicating by email with Dam since the beginning of last week and we have been unable to resolve this issue - I asked for a Skype chat appointment on Friday and have not received a reply.
When importing properties - the zipped folder images do not display. It could be I am doing something wrong but repeated requests for a step by step (I have repeatedly followed the guide instructions ) guide to the procedure that could define any error on my part have not been forthcoming.
Is there anyone out there that has had similar problems and resolved them or has someone got step by step instructions to that would eliminate any possible error by me.
Thanks
My process is - 'import csv' and when asked click on the zip photo folder on my desktop of the properties relevant to that csv document. All are in the green column after import process and after many times of trying this I end up having to drag and drop each properties pictures manually after csv import.

Hi,
As i explained to you, the photo column only contains photo names without directories or sub-directories, and the photo names are seperated by |.
For example:
CORRECT: photo1.jpg|photo2.jpg
INCORRECT: a/b/photo1.jpg|a/c/photo2.jpg
And the photos must be compressed in parent directory without any child directories. I send you one attachment for example
Thanks
Dam

To be absolutely clear then:
1.Remove all references to /photos etc and just leave the reference number in the photo field in the csv document
2. Add all relevant photos for the new csv document to a zipped folder containing all the other photos previously uploaded on the server
Thanks

Hi,
1. Remove all references to /photos etc and just leave photo names in photo column of CSV
CORRECT: 32854a-col-3601_1.jpg|32854a-col-3601_2.jpg
INCORRECT: 32854a/Photos/32854a-col-3601_1.jpg|32854a/miniPhotos/32854a-col-3601_2.jpg
2. All pictures having name on CSV file must be compressed in one .zip file. You don't need to add pictures of previous import time into compressed file.
Thanks
Dam
