Customising quick search

Hi Dang, I've checked on forum posts but cannot get the answer. I'm trying to get actual parameters to show on my quick search like www.propertydirectltd.com , mine shows basic information, details and other which can then be clicked on to show the parameters ( no. of bedrooms, etc ) and I would like to just have the parameters showing like in the advanced search. A dropdown would be more appropriate

First of all, OS Property doesn't have Quicksearch module (beside slideshow) as on www.propertydirectltd.com . But very luckly, we have some templates (were designed to work with OS Property) and they have the Quicksearch module. For example: osprealestate.joomservices.com/
As you can see, the template has Quick search module, and it contains the Bath, Bed, Room, Price beside Property types and location
In this case, i think it is suitable with you. How do you think about that template, Derrick

Hi Dang, it was so that I could have the quick search showing the parameter I wanted like no. of rooms, price, category type, area, region instead of what's there now like details, address , basic information and this opens up the parameters. ( see www.capitallettingscardiff.co.uk/CapitalLettings/ )

It seems you already changed the Search module of OS Property by the Search module of FWRealestate, right?

Not really, just experimenting with it, wanted o see how it looked. My preference is to have the quick search looking similar to that. I'm really surprised that the quick search module for OS property cannot be modified like that
