Request More Information - Cron Problem (Perhaps!)

I have just noticed that the "request more information" feature on properties leads to an error message

Email cannot be sent at this time, please try again later

Previously, this feature worked when tested. However, since individual properties are linked to agent accounts I cannot tell if they have been receiving requests for more information. The one I tested, linked to our account, certainly failed with the message above.

I have checked the Cron plugin and this is the latest version and published. In fact I recently updated the component to the latest code so code age shouldn't be an issue - it's fresh.

I am running Joomla 2.5.28, OSP 2.9.0. The website is www.villamarketingsolutions.com .

Be grateful for some insight into how to improve the situation.

Thanks for the ultra fast response.

This problem is associated with and affecting our J2.5 website. Since I posted the error we have actually migrated this site to J3.4 (and updated the OSProperty component) but to get this all working we need to update PHP to version 5.4 and this means a server move (this will be tonight). I'm going to wait for a few days while that job is finished before progressing a ticket. I don't want to waste your time Dam, it's possible that moving to the new server, PHP and Joomla versions may solve it.

If not, I will create the ticket as requested. Either way, I will report back here for others to read.
