SOLVED Ajax request not working with SEF activated was created by Adrián
Hi, when I try to search by country, state and city (ajax request), the response to the query doesn't work since I'm using SEF (in global configuration) and removes index.php from URL. Is there a way I coud fix this? do I have to rewrite the .htaccess?
Thanks
Thanks

Hi Adrian,
In normally, even your site has Sef mode is turned on, the non-sef urls still are able to be run. You can see on the demo site of OS Property: osproperty.ext4joomla.com , is is Sef mode 100%, but the non-sef links that called from Ajax methods are still working well.
In this case, i think you need to contact with technical guy of your hosting to ask them about the problem.
Thanks
Dam

Hi again, I found the problem but still couldn't fix it... it's not about SEF or Rewriting rule, it's about language codes in URL: my site is bilingual and adds two codes in the URL (it/ and en/). If I disable this codes in backend (plugin manager -> language filter plugin) the ajax script workes fine, the problem is that I'm told to put these codes into the URL.

It's ok, I could fix it, it was .htaccess problem, I'm using a custom htaccess that rewrote ajax url request because it had "tmpl" in the query string, so I had to put an exception to this rewrite rule.
Thanks!
Thanks!
