SOLVED !!! Category as dropdown field was created by Jim

Hi,

If possible i would like both category fields in the filter form and property add form to be dropdown and not multiple selections.

Please can you let me know the changes and where?

Hi Jim,
There are quite a lot places that you need to make the modification to change multiple dropdown to single dropdown, almost files are in: components > com_osproperty > classes folder

Thanks, I will have a look, i think its important especially when adding a new property as some of my users are selecting more than one category

Hi Dam,

I have changed all the categories to dropdown lists thanks, apart from the one in the property edit template.

Can you help with this please? or alternatively help me make the selection box bigger as its too small for users to select. (it only shows 2 lines)

As i see in the image, the Category field is still is Multiple select field

Yes its the only one on the site i couldn't change to a dropdown.

As i couldn't change this how do i make the multiple selection box bigger?

Perfect thank you, which bit of code did you change and i will change my other sites?

I will still try to change this to a dropdown in the future as with the multiple selection you can of course select more than one category, which i don't want.
