Repeated city names

Hi! I figured out that many cities in most of the countries that I've installed in my extension have the same name (attribute "city" in database) but different database id, is that an error or it has been done this way on purpose?

For example:

Switerzand -> Zurich -> Berg (this city is appears at least 10 times)
Ausria -> Tirol -> Ried (this one appears 4 times)

You can use features: Manage States and Manage Cities at Back-end of OS Property to remove the duplicated States or Cities if you want.
