If the problem can be solved why worry? If the problem can not be solved, worrying will do you no good.
[SOLVED] Advanced search layout and search module was created by Stephen
Hi
In advanced search layout (menu item) I´ve tried to do some search but can´t get it to work properly. I also checked this on your demo site just to be sure.
(Maybe that I´m doing something wrong or havn´t really understood how it´s supposed to work)
Under general information:
search by categories and property types works ok
Search by keyword doesn´t work (tried with YMCA - showed all properties, tried with Millenium Hilton Hotel - showed all properties I also tried on my own site with different words)
Search for futured works ok
Search for sold shows also pending (maybe this is correct....)
Price ranged does not work (tried a search of properties in the range of 0-10 000 but all properties showed up)
Under location and other information:
Seems to work ok
In search module - "Find Properties":
Backend - set show keywords to yes does not work in frontend. No keyword box shows up in search module.

Hi,
When you type "Millenium Hilton Hotel" in keyword searching, the system will search all properties that have "Millenium", "Hilton", "Hotel" words in title, description, ref, address..etc so that you may see a lot of properties in Search result.
You must turn on the field: Show Other filter form if you want to show Keyword at front-end of Search module.
Thanks
Dam

Hi
Great, found it.
But still the Layout: Advanced Search menu item does not work as expected.
Keyword search in search module works fine (all expected result shows up) but the same search in Layout: Advanced Search does not show any result at all.
And search for "featured" properties does not show any result at all (in my website) in your demo it shows all featured properties.
So something is not working correct in Layout: Advanced Search on my website.
