SOLVED !!! SEF URLs and Duplicate pages was created by Thibaut
Hello,
by default it seems that sef urls for os property follow the menu id.
But it generates duplicate page, so I would like to know how it's possible to:
1. CHANGE THE SEF URL
url become
---property /state name / type name/ ref.html
2. ADD BASE URL TO AVOID PENALTY FROM SEARCH ENGINE
Add base url in the meta of the property details page which link to the unique url
property/ref.html
Thx by advance,
Jack

Hi Jack,
From version 2.7.5, OS Property has feature to allow administrator to configure the sef links of property details. There are 3 options
1. link / alias.html
2. link / ref + alias.html
3. link / ref + alias + id .html
With these options, we will avoid the Sef urls duplication issue
Thanks
Dam

Hello,
I replied late because just setup the version 2.7.5. I figure out that have more options as you mentionned but the url still depends from the menu.
In my case the menu is buy/paris/ so the link is displayed as buy/paris/*****
If I want to remove the menu link and just keep the alias+ref.html where I have to look?
Thx

Hi Thibaut,
Of course, the link will still have the alias of menus. That's Joomla sef feature. The options in the configuration page is for the alias of properties. For example:
abc.com/link1/link2/property_alias.html
The part is "property_alias.html"
Thanks
