Upgrade Joomla was created by Ian Sim
I have a very old version of OSProperty, 2.0.3.3, running on Joomla 2.5.19. I would like to upgrade to Joomla 3. What are my options? Do I have to buy a new version of OSProperty?

Hi Ian,
You can upgrade your Joomla site from 2.5.x to 3.x. And then, you can install latest OS Property and the existing data won't lose. You can backup your site before upgrading for safe reason.
By the way, you current OS Property is too old. I guest you need to re-purchase it if you want to download latest OS Property version.
Thanks
Dam

Hi Dam,
I have a similar question.
My clients old site is running on Joomla 2.5, with OSP 2.0.7.
I would like to upgrade the site to Joomla 3.x and would like to buy the latest version of OSP.
First I would like to create a new test site. Is it possible to import the properties from the old site and export to the new test site?
Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,
I think you can install your current site at localhost first. And then, install latest OS Property to see if it work before doing the same with your live site.
Thanks
Dam
