Hi,

this is only a minor issue but its already annoying some of my testers. When a user visits the home page - whether for the first time or by navigating back to Home there is a delay on the slideshow loading.

At first no slides appear *just the 2 navigation arrows) and the Quick search box is half on the screen and half off (its sat centrally over the main menu at top of window). Then it jumps and loads both the slides and the quick search in its correct position . It has the same issue on ipad and windows tablet as well as PC.

I am using the Quickstart OSP Real Estate template. I upgraded it yesterday to latest template and the modules that were included. Before I upgraded to this lastest version yesterday there was a slightly different problem in that the Quick Search box would load normally, but all the slide images would stack on on top of the other down the page, then eventually jump into place.

How do I correct this so the slides and quick search load properly?

Kind regards

Mel

Hi Mel,
In first version of OSP Real Estate, we use the old JM Slideshow, it loads all pictures of slideshow before moving them into slideshow. Some customers complained us about this. In latest version of OSP Real Estate, we use new version of JM Slideshow, it won't load the pictures until they are loaded completely in cache.
You are first customer complain us about it. But to be honest, we don't have solution for this problem. You are also use another slideshow if you want. Maybe it can solve the issue. The main problem is we can't use another commercial slideshow for OSP Real Estate.
Thanks

Hi Dam,

thanks for the response. No problem - its a small issue like I said. There doesn't seem to be a cache option in the module - if there were, would that have helped seeing as in my case the images wont ever change - or at least not for a very long time.

Hi,
I think in new version of JM Slideshow, it doesn't show the images before they are loaded completely. But i believe you can use another slideshow to solve the problem.
Thanks
