Problem with sorting

using joomla 2.5
os propert version 2.6.3

When i change the published date the object stays in the same place, but i set the "Order By" setting for the menu to "Created date".
What is going wrong? (you stille have my login details );

Hi,
Published date isn't created date. "Created date" is the date administrator or agents add the properties while "published date" is the date the property is shown at front-end of component.
