[SOLVED!!!] Gallery error was created by Dang Thuc Dam
Dear everyone,
If you are using OS Property in Joomla 3.2, you will see the error in the Gallery at the property details page. When you click on any photo in Gallery, the original photo will be loaded, but as soon as the original picture appears, the black background color will overlay the screen, and you aren't able to see the original picture of property. (gallery.jpg)
To solve that issue, please download file fix_gallery.zip back to desktop. Extract it and
copy folder colorbox to directory
components > com_osproperty > js
copy file common.php to directory
components > com_osproperty > helpers

Good luck
Dam

Hi Thomas,
If you made the backup file "common.php" and put it in the same directory "helpers", please remove it
Notice, this common.php file only works with OS Property 2.4 or greater
Thanks
Dam

Hi Dam,
o.k., I removed the common.php file and it is like bevor, I mean the fault of the black images
is still there.
I tryed as well with version 2.4, but it is not working, the same effect like v 2.3.

Hi Dam,

Similar/same issue? using "Joomla! 3.2.0 Stable" and OSProperty version 2.4 with a Yootheme site template (for JQuery reference, Venture).

The default OSProperty template shows thumbnails but no click-thru.
Theme 2 and theme_black seem to work better but has the background issue as described here (mask over whole page).

I've uploaded the fix, then (with the original php removed) clicking a search from the home page causes a larger error,
the search menu shows up with nothing of the site, just that on a page, no css styling either.

Any all comments appreciated, Al

Hi Folks,

I kept working on this since my first posting here, I downloaded slimbox from their website here and copied that to the component's js folder - ignored the common.php leaving the original in place and after a cache clean it seems to be working.

Hi Alan,
It means you didn't replace the file: common.php? And the gallery still wors with you?
But no worry, we are going to release OS Property version 2.5, and this issue has been fixed it that version.
Thanks
Dam

Hi Dam,

That's right, when I replaced the common file it all went pear shaped. I thought for a while maybe there was some caching going on so I made sure it was cleared. There's a number of JQuery libes on this site, perhaps it's that? So for clarity, in the end all I did was get the latest slimbox from their site, unpack it and put it in that dir on the site.

Whatever, for now it's working and I take your point about the update.

Well done on OS Property, I know how tricky things are with the recent updates on Joomla - kudos.

Cheers, Al
