Search properties odd behavior was created by Dycon
Hello, in the Search properties, I made a few modifications, which they are working fine.. the thing is...
When upload a new property, I use some of the custom fields which can be use for search...
now, one of this custom field is a dropbox...
So, say Casa 1 is a new property house...
with a select box "New Green"
So in the search module it shows "New Green" as an option for search... so since I know that I have one property with that value, it should show that property in the results page... but it doesn't...
It only shows that there are no properties with that search criteria...
But if I go directly to the property you will see that in the custom "fields" it shows "New Green" ...
Now here is the ODD part...
Now that I have seen the property I go back to the "home" page, and I use the search module, I chose again "New Green" and hit the search button...
and guess what!...
It shows that there is one result!! ....
why? .... why didn't it show it at first? ...
My guess is that the property need to be seen before it can be fund... but, how? why?... what do Views value has to do with the search? ... if property hasn't been seen then it cannot be fund using the search module
see it for your self...
I have 1 property with a value of "Santa fe" ...
in this website: cohenya.com/
use the search module on the left side...
use the dropbox "Colonia"
and select "Santa fe"
it will show nothing... when it should show a property...
Thank you.

Hi Dycon,
The problem is you haven't selected enough important information for properties. In this case, it's property types.
Thanks
Dam
