SEF URL issue

Hi,

Ive turned off sh404SEF and now using the built in SEF on OS Property. I have several properties that have the same title but different property references.

The issue is that SEF is making all the property with same title for eg '3 Bedroom Home in Parklands' point to the same property - see the following www.trustproperty.co.za/index.php/property/parklands-property .

I presume the system is only taking Titles in to consideration when creating SEF URL, can this be changed to incorporate the Ref or what else can be done to rectify this?

Hi Rich,
OS Property has the field called "alias", you can change the aliases of the properties that have the same name.

I see that if you use the same Alias 2 or more times, the property ID is automatically added - i take it this is built in to avoid duplications?

Yes, we need to add the ID into the aliases to avoid the duplication problem
