Deactivate Maps in General Search and Properties was created by Carmelo Terán
Hello Dam,

How could I deactivate the Maps showing:

1. After a General Search that appears right before showing any property.

2. When entering a specific Property, there is a Map showing under LOCATION with a bunch of names for Amenities or Places of interest.

Ex. ydomus.info/index.php/property-search/casa-400-m

At the moment, I would like to have these 2 Maps deactivated... Is there a way to do show in the Config area?

Thanks a lot!!!

Sorry I didnt explain clearly... I mean "The Map" that appears right underneath the Results 0- 7 of 7 after a Search...

So it would be deactivating that one map and then the one map when you enter Property details which I´m just checking that you have hidden... Thanks for this change ;)

I would like also to HIDE the whole Location: Schools. Restaurants. Doctors... I thought the LOCATION came all together Services+ Map...

Thanks a lot Dam

Dam,

So that you know, a explanation for this change, hidding Maps and Location at the moment, is that we will not be showing DETAILED Address of the Properties, just their mainCity.

Maybe in the future I will activate these Location + Map

Thanksss ;)

I want exactly the same thing. Can you explain here how to disable both maps and location. My site is currently local and I want to do it myself as well as the need for other people in the same problem. thank you

Hi Bejamin,
To disable the map at the property details page, please select not to show address when you add/edit properties.
To disable the map at the property listing page, please follow these steps
1. Open file
components > com_osproperty > templates > theme1 > listing.html.tpl.php
components > com_osproperty > templates > theme1 > listing.html.tpl.php
2. find
<div id="map_canvas" style="position:relative; width: 100%; height: 300px"></div>
and remove it
Good luck
Dam
