Changing the Category Search areas

My client has asked me to make some changes to the Category Search areas like adding Bed /Bath options, Amenities and now Additional Information fields into the area. I tried to make some changes and now the Category Search does not work at all. If possible, could you take a look and fix it, and tell me what the fix was so I can make changes in the future without breaking it?

I have seen your site, but unfortunately, it's impossible to add the advance search feature to the Category search function.
