Compatibility with Joomfish 2.5? was created by Krx
Hi
Is OS property compatible with Joomfish 2.5.x for J2.5?
Yesterday I purchased OSP and installed it on J2.5.9, all went OK, all checks are green.
After I installed JF 2.5.1 I'm seeing this errors:
1. when opening property details in frontend:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined method OspropertyCategories::get() in E:\xampp\htdocs\mytestwebsite\libraries\joomfish\route\jfroute.php on line 147"
2. When translating OSP category in Joomfish in backend:
"Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in E:\xampp\htdocs\mytestwebsite\libraries\joomfish\translationfilter\category.php on line 113"
I saw that OSP is compatible with Falang, their contentelement XML file is identical.
If I rename Falang tag in content element XML files into Joomfish I can actually use it in Admin - category names gets translated in frontend, but as soon as I enter property details, that error pops in.
Joomfish is (finally) out of beta so I'd like to stick with it.
Do you have any suggestion how to fix this issue?
Regards

Hi,
Currently, OS Property is only compatible with Falang component. We haven't checked the JoomFish yet, so we haven't made the plugin to integrate OS property with JoomFish.
In near future, when we complete the stable version of OS Property with Joomla 3.x, we will add the feature to integrate with JoomFish component.
Thanks
Dam

Hi Dam
I know that this is very unpopular question, but can you project ETA for JF integration?
I can wait up to 1 month but not more, and I don't want to start building website with Falang, now when JF is back on track.
For me, main drawback with Falang is that they don't have support forum, so with every issue we need to contact em directly, than to wait.
Having good support forum is a must for any serious product.
Thanks for quick reply

Hi
Did you maybe had some time to test Joomfish which I've sent you with OSP?
I need to decide will I use OSP for my next project(s) or not,
and decision depends only on OSP compatibility with JoomFish.
I know that I can choose some other component but I like option to build custom property fields very much,
that's why I'm nagging about JF compatibility

Hi,
We tried to install Joomfish component you sent. But whenever we installed it, we have the issues with blank page error. The xml files for Joomfish are not different too much with the xml files for Falang.
We are in Traditional New year holiday, so when we come back to work on 18th Feb, you can contact me to get the xml files of OS Property for Joomfish.
Thanks
Dam

Hi
Any ETA about OSP Joomfish support?
I purchased OSP license few months ago, but I couldn't use it because target website was already based around Joomfish,
so I ended by using another property solution for Joomla.
Maybe I'll need to build another property website, so I'm asking again about JF support
Thanks

Hi,
The last version of JoomFish that you sent to me doesn't work anymore. If you have newer JF version, please send it to me so i can check to see if we can integrate OSP with JF.
Thanks
