SOLVED!!! There was an error uploading this file to the server was created by Peperalf
Hello,
I just bought OS property. I am going to do a renting website.
I try to install Os property in joomla but with no succes.
When i try to install/uppload the component(com_osproperty) i get this error : 500 (Internal Server) Error.
I saw the installation guide but i didn't manage to fix it.
Can i get some help please.
And, apart the program folder received on mail, do i neet to download other parts ?
Is it there a explanation document of how to manage the various extensions such search and agent subscription and so on of OS property?
Regards and thank you

Hi,
The most common reason for this problem is that the File you have uploaded is too big.
The File Size Upload Limit on your Server is set too low to allow larger files to be uploaded. By
default PHP allows files up to 2 MB, but you can set to 8 MB to get rid of this error.
If you have access to the php.ini, then change the directive upload_max_filesize to "8M"
and reload the server configuration.
If you are running PHP in CGI mode on Apache, you can place an .htaccess file in your
Joomla! root directory and place the following code inside:
php_value upload_max_filesize 8M
This will solve the problem
You can also download this attachment, extract it, and copy file php.ini to 2 folders
root_of_joomla > administrator
and
root_of_joomla
After that, you can try to re-install component
Thanks
Dam

I still can't install OS Services Booking. I copied the php.ini to Joomla root and administrator, but still can't install.
Please advise what I should ask my web- or server host what to do?

Hi Annemarie,
You need to contact with hosting admin to ask them how to increase the value of PHP variable: upload_max_filesize
In this case, only hosting admin can do it for you
Thanks

I had follow Mr Dam instructions to upload the attachment php.ini file into joomla root and joomla root administrator (please refer to attachment "php.ini directory").
After that i upload "Joomla!OSPRealestate_template_quickstart.zip" into joomla again, but it seem not working and and appear another error like "Error:404 - Category not found. Please try one of the following pages: Home Page" Please refer to attachment for clearer picture (error 404).
Note:
1. My hosting have 2 domain.
2. I want upload OSP Real Estate into 2nd domain.
3. So i didn't my php.ini is putting in correct location or not?
Here also attach my cpanel file directory, so please advise the php.ini files should be upload to which files.
Best Regards,
Jeffrey
