Min / Max Price was created by Matesrates
Hi,
I was wondering if you could make a field that contains a number, and then search between minimum and maximum amounts.
I'd ideally like to use this method to search for floor area and price, but price is the important.
Almost all real estate sites use a price range rather than an indefinate list of drop down menus, so surely this is possible?
Cheers.

Hi,
In OS Property, we have the price list management, in that part, you can define the price amount lists. For example
1- 1000
1000 - 100000
v.v.
And in the search form, the price lists will be shown in the dropdown.
Thanks

So there is no way to have a user enter a minimum and maximum price amount and search for that? They always have to choose a predefined category?

Yes, currently, administrator should manage the price lists in the backend. We think that is ok if administrator define the enough the price distances.

I would definitely recommend adding min/max support as a new feature. I actually imagine it would be simpler than having infinite categories, as PHP has number comparison built in.
Another question.
I am using the advanced search plug in. Can I turn off some of the basic fields such as Property Type?
Thanks

It's impossible to turn off the basic fields. You can only turn off the extra fields
