Layout - Theme - Update was created by WebFarol
Hi There,
I recently updated OS Property to the latest version, and it completely broke my website layout. We were using Theme 3, and after the update, major structural changes were made without warning.
One of the biggest issues is that the map was moved to the left, even though we were not using a map at all. This resulted in a large empty space on the left side of the page, completely disrupting the layout. Additionally, the CSS was altered, overriding our custom styles and breaking the design we had carefully adjusted to match our brand.
Due to these unexpected and drastic changes, I was forced to roll back to the previous version to restore the correct layout and styling. Making such significant modifications to existing templates in an update, without providing an option to keep the previous structure, is highly disruptive.
If you want to introduce dramatic changes to template designs, the best approach would be to release them as new templates, rather than altering existing ones. This way, users who rely on a stable design are not forced to rebuild everything from scratch after each update. The default template designs are quite weak, and after investing a lot of time improving them, seeing all that work undone with a single update is extremely frustrating.
With this level of instability in updates, it becomes difficult to continue using a component that does not maintain consistency in such a crucial aspect as design.
I would appreciate a quick response, as we need a stable update that does not force us to redo our entire customization.
Best Regards
