Image Storage in another / new site folder was created by Alexei Fedor....
Good day!
Now the site is filled with real estate by 70%, 12800 positions. Each object has, on average, 30 photos in three sizes (large, medium and small), and they occupy about 65GB on disk. But because of so many images, the “images” folder simply navigating to “Content>Media”( site.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_media ) causes a 500 error. This makes it very difficult to work with regular articles on the site.
I suggest adding to the page "Configuration>Image" a selection field - "default folders". And also, with a new installation of the component, create the folder "site/image-osproperty", and it will be the default folder.

Hi,
Currently, it's difficult to change image folder of properties, because there will be a lot of works, many places in extension should be changed. We will have to evaluate the complexity of the work and its effectiveness before implementing. But we know that will need quite a long time to implement that work.
Thanks
Dam
