Automatic Featured Property notification

I have integrated the OS membership with the OS Property in order for clients to sign up for displaying their properties using one of the set packages that I have defined.

Based on this I would like to be able to select an option to automatically notify property owners with my registered users that a slot in the Featured Property display has now become available letting them upgrade their property package or simply select that option within their membership package.

Could that be a feature that is added in the future?
